    Purpose

The purpose of the PTSA’s Trojan Excellence Fund is to channel financial donations, generously made by parents and the community, to purchase items and materials that will assist in the enrichment of all aspects of Anderson High including academic, student, and administrative activities.

As we all know, the past few years have resulted in budget cuts in education. This makes it difficult for schools to buy new or replace existing equipment, buy consumable supplementary materials, or to update technology. In years past, the Trojan Excellence Fund has granted as much as $16,000 in teachers’ requests, helping to purchase needed items for almost every department at Anderson High School. Some examples of such items include: classroom and library books, various electronic equipment (laptop computers, LCD projectors, DVD players), software, science equipment, calculators, cameras, student planning agendas, facilities cleaning equipment, and signs & directory maps around the campus.

By making a contribution to the Trojan Excellence Fund (TEF), you are directly helping your child and our school community as a whole, thus helping to keep Anderson the great school that it is. Contributions are tax deductible, business donations are welcomed, and contributors are recognized in the newsletter.

To contribute, complete the TEF section on the PTSA Membership form available on this website, and mail it in.
