Scholarships

There are many web sites with scholarship information; to learn about some of them, visit our Scholarship Information page.

AISD receives notices of many scholarships each year. Most - but not all - are for seniors. Some are for a specific area of study, a specific school, or a specific group of students. Some target students who have demonstrated leadership or community service or financial need. Others are contests, often requiring an essay or something else to enter. Many offer a single scholarship, many offer multiple scholarships for varying amounts.

The AISD scholarship database, available at www.austinisd.org/academics/scholarship/index.phtml contains many scholarships that are available to AISD students. Project ADVANCE College Advisor Michele Reynolds is emailed when new scholarships are added to that database. She notifies the parent scholarship committee, which is responsible for updating both the scholarship flyers on the wall in the Counselors’ office and the files below with the new listings. The listings below contain the same information that is in the flyers on the Counselors’ wall.

Important notes:

1. The attached lists may not contain all scholarships with due dates during those months.
2. The scholarship listings in a PDF file may be updated as more are added to the AISD database. Periodically checking each available file is recommended to avoid missing new listings.
