    Learn About: Textbooks, TAKS & the SBOE

    Come learn about the State Board of Education at an informational forum scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7, from 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. at the Yarborough Library, 2200 Hancock Drive.

    Speakers include former Science textbook representative for Holt, Reinhart, Winston Mark Grayson, State Rep. Donna Howard (D-Austin), and Dr. Harrison Keller, Vice Provost for Education Policy and Research at UT Austin.  Following brief statements from the speakers, audience members are encouraged to ask questions.
