ACC Class Forms for Next Semester Due

All students wanting to take ACC classes next semester need to turn forms in by Monday, November 2. Ms. Mason will then set up an advising schedule. Classes available at Anderson next semester: Speech (Mon/Wed; 7:40-8:55) and Texas Government (TBD; seniors only)

This past week, seniors completed the ACC application through their social studies class. If they were absent or did not complete the application, I will begin calling them out of class next week. Why do we do it? A) We have many students that currently plan to attend ACC next fall and this is one step they must do. B) Each year students’ plans change and they decide later to attend ACC, this prevents them from having to go back and complete the information. C) We also have many students that go away to a four year institution, but want to take summer classes when they are home. This eliminates footwork and headaches later. This is a process the seniors go through every year, and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Logging onto Naviance: Go to http://connection.naviance.com/lcahs and log in as a returning student. Enter the student ID where it says email and again for the password. No registration numbers are needed! Please ensure that parent and student email addresses are correct. If you have not gotten emails from me, it is likely that we have no email or an incorrect address listed.
