It’s a new year, holidays are over, college paperwork is completed… and now it is time to gear up for the June 5 graduation and our Project Graduation Celebration. We know that families have been VERY busy this year and that we are in tumultuous economic times… but Project Graduation is the best deal going… it is SAFE,FUN and very cost effective. IF EVERY FAMILY WOULD DONATE $50-$100 we would reach our goal. We need YOUR help to make this a success.
We have raised around $8500 and need to raise around $30,000. NOW is the time to send in your money. Make donation checks payable to Anderson PTSA and mail to Carie McKinney 10610 Sierra Oaks Austin, TX 78759. Send your money in NOW so that we can know where we stand on our fundraising.
We have a Project Graduation meeting January 14 at 7PM room 130 at Anderson .
Each family of an Anderson Senior will receive a mailout from us later this month…. with Project Graduation 2009 party details,a permission slip, donation form, and more. So be on the lookout for this to arrive at your home.
Our next big fundraiser is February 22 Dinner and Silent Auction! Betsey Bender and Jill Henderson are co-chairing this event. Please give them a hand email Betsey Bender and Jill Henderson. If you have an item to donate or would like to help these ladies please contact them. We raise $5000 at this FUN event.
PAVERS
Think about purchasing a paver to help Project Graduation. If you have not had a chance, stop by the Performing Arts Center and see how lovely the area looks since installation of engraved pavers. Purchasing an engraved paver not only benefits Project Graduation, but is a timeless and beautiful way to honor and remember someone. This could be a student, teacher, mentor, or even several names on a larger paver. Here is the link for the paver form.
Please contact Celie Tijerina at 731-5874 if you have questions.
Looking forward to lots of donations for our Anderson families !
