Although this week is short (students have the day off from school Monday), you’d never know it from the full schedule we have ahead of us. On Tuesday afternoon, ask your child for the flier he/she received announcing Anderson’s upcoming Town Hall meeting for parents and students entitled “lucid.” On Wednesday, sophomores and juniors will take the PSAT, while freshmen complete the annual state-required FitnessGram and seniors make either an official visit to a local college or stay on campus to take care of graduation and early college start details. The Campus Advisory Council meets Wednesday afternoon and features on its agenda a review of the Campus Improvement Plan, a 73-page document that sets goals for student improvement in the upcoming year. Anderson plays Bastrop on Thursday evening at our annual Homecoming football game. And the student Homecoming dance rounds out the week on Saturday evening. Read through this Trojan Times carefully so that you, too, can surprise your kids and be “in-the-know.”
