Thank you so much for your generosity to Anderson High School and its teachers. At last week’s PTSA meeting, it was reported that the PTSA has collected over $20,000 in donations for the Trojan Excellence Fund and over $9000 in donations to Staff Appreciation. What a testimony it is that Anderson families are willing to support our school with contributions totaling more than $30,000. This goes to show that our community appreciates our Anderson teachers and wants to enhance the environment of learning at the school. Thank you for being a part of this effort. We’ll be sure to communicate throughout the year how those funds are used.
Don’t forget that this Wednesday is the Superintendent Search forum at Anderson High School. It will begin at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria. This is a great opportunity for you to express your opinions regarding the search for a new AISD superintendent and to hear what others in our community say about the issue.
And finally, if all goes as planned, we will distribute directories to those who ordered them by the end of this week. Please look for a separate Trojan Times for details on delivery. They will go home with students, so we want parents to know to ask for them so they won’t be left in lockers for the year.
Have a great week as we officially enter fall. (Have you purchased your mums from Project Graduation, yet!)
