Beth Dardnne, dedicated mom to Mike and Scott Dardnne and avid Anderson Football, Baseball and Lacrosse booster, sadly left our “Anderson Family” in August 2007. The Anderson Lacrosse Team has donated the funds for 2 benches to be installed on a treed knoll overlooking the Anderson football field and Baseball field in memory of Beth. The Anderson PTSA is sponsoring a donation drive to raise funds to transform this area into a memorial to Beth. The final plans will be determined by the funds raised. The “Anderson Family” also lost Kevin Standish last year, Anderson alum and father of Anderson students, Hilary, Barrett and Broderick. While at Anderson, Kevin was a member of “The Wild Bunch of 1979″. The PTSA is dedicated to raising funds for a bench to be installed in the courtyard between the main building and gym in honor of Kevin and The Wild Bunch, and is asking for donations in Kevin’s name. Also, if anyone knows the other members of “The Wild Bunch” who can provide stories of their adventures, please forward this email to them.
