Dear Students, Parents, and Teachers of Anderson High School,
Many of you recently participated in a survey put together by Great Schools Workshop, and some of you participated in focus groups that looked at some of the issues that were highlighted in the answers to the surveys. Over the next several months GSW will support our School Redesign Team in a series of public, collaborative conversations about how we will move ahead. You can expect regular communication from my office about this work. Please know, however, that I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have in lieu of these updates.
GSW has compiled the data and sent this summary of their initial findings. For this summary, GSW identified the important needs indicated in the survey answers and suggested potential next steps. We will begin to address these recommendations, as a staff, during the November 12th Professional Development Day meetings. The recommendations will also be discussed at the CAC meeting on November 14th .
