October 17th - Please Read

All 10th and 11th graders will be taking the PSAT. These students will be assigned alphabetically to the testing rooms with two test administrators per classroom. 11th graders will be in the English wing (330’s and 340’s) and rooms 320 and 321. 10th graders will be in the Math wing (200’s and 210’s) and rooms 230 and 231.

All 9th graders will meet with their respective 9th grade Advisor in assigned rooms (different from the location their advisor normally meets). 9th graders will be viewing a video with guided questions and activities.

All 12th graders will:

With parent permission, conduct a local college visit, providing documentation from the visit
Arrive at school in time for their 4th period class that begins at 12:15pm

Or seniors may:

In the library (sign in for attendance documentation):
- Complete ACC-101 online tutorial that is a prerequisite for the ACC online application process.
- Sign on for a FAFSA account and request a PIN number
- Sign on to establish an account and password for the Texas Common Application to any state college or university. This application can be started and saved for later completion

In the cafeteria (sign in for attendance documentation):

Proof of name and spelling for Diploma - student signature required

Attendance appeal - for any previous course credit denied due to absences

Credit issues form - required for any pending HS credits through dual credit courses at ACC, CBE, correspondence courses, or any other source outside of AISD…note where credit is originating from and student must provide documentation

Recommendation forms - for students needing letters of recommendation for college applications

College essay - instructions, examples, and draft copy of college essay required for applications.
