    AHS PTSA Scholarships - Membership Deadline Approaching

    Please join the 2007-08 AHS PTSA!  You must be a member by October 15th to be eligible for the AHS PTSA Scholarships.  In May of 2008, the PTSA will award three $500 scholarships to deserving Seniors.  The eligibility rules for these scholarships require that both the senior and at least one of his/her parents or guardians join the Anderson PTSA for the current school year on or before October 15th.  The scholarship application process will begin during the spring semester of 2008 and will be open to all seniors.  The awards will be based on need, citizenship, involvement in extra curricular, community, or employment activities, and good academic record.  If you are interested in applying in the spring, make sure you do not miss the October 15th membership deadline.  Applications are online at the PTSA website or pick up one in the Counselors office.
